Models and Pricing
The 2022 Dodge Durango will be offered across Canada in five trim levels: SXT, GT, Citadel, R/T, and SRT 392. While pricing has not yet been released for the 2022 model, the entry-level SXT should remain around the same price as the 2021 version, which started just under $44,000.
Starting at just over $48,000, the GT trim level is a great mixture of features and value for buyers, upgrading the Durango to have leather-faced seats, heated first and second row seats, heated steering wheel, power liftgate, and remote start.
At the top of the lineup is the SRT 392, which features Dodge's pinnacle 6.4-litre HEMI SRT V8 engine and a variety of performance features, such as performance-tuned all-wheel drive and Brembo high-performance brakes with six-piston front calipers.
Durango Powertrains
Most of the 2022 Dodge Durango models are built standard with a 3.6-litre Pentastar V6 that delivers 295 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. It is standard on the Durango SXT, GT, and Citadel models.
A best-in-class 360-hp 5.7-litre HEMI V8 engine delivers 390 lb-ft of torque on the Durango R/T model and is also available on the Citadel. The real show-stopper is the 2022 Dodge Durango SRT, which features a HEMI V8 engine that rockets the Durango to 97 km/h in 4.4 seconds and produces 475 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque.
Technology
One of the highlights of the 2022 Dodge Durango is the all-new Uconnect 5 multimedia system that is available on all trim levels. With an upgraded processer and three times more memory, Uconnect 5 provides wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Alexa capability, Wi-Fi hotspot, EV-connected services, and more. When drivers opt for the 10.1-inch flush-mounted touchscreen, they can connect two smartphones with Bluetooth capability simultaneously, as well as personalise the touchscreen for up to six different user profiles.
