Models and Packages
There are eight models in the Didge Charger lineup. It starts with the Charger SXT, which is also available in an AWD model. Next up is the Charger GT, which has performance steering and performance styling, with sculpted side sills, a spoiler and a performance hood. The GT is also available as an AWD model.The Charger R/T has performance suspension, steering and look. Plus, the Harman Kardon audio system with 19 GreenEdge speakers is available when purchasing this model. The Charger Scat Pack is available with Widebody. It has the best-in-class horsepower, at 485, SRT Drive Modes, launch controls, launch assist and line lock features.
The Charger SRT Hellcat can be customized with the SRT Black package for a blacked-out look, metallic badging and black nickel exhaust tips. It comes with SRT Drive Modes as standard, electric power steering (EPS) and a performance hood.
The Charger SRT Hellcat Redeye is the most powerful option, delivering a top speed of 327 km/h and going from 0-96.5 km in 3.6 seconds. Besides Widebody and Jailbreak, other packages include Daytona and graphics.
What's New For 2023
There are more jailbreak options for 2023, with the SRT Hellcat and the SRT Hellcat Redeye included. It means more personalization options. There will also be a special edition Didge Charger for 2023, although details have yet to be released.Also new for 2023 are some colour options, including Plum Crazy and B5 Blue for the exterior. Destroyer Grey is also available for the 2023 model.
Performance and Design
The Charger SXT, SXT AWD, GT and GT AWD come with a 3.6-litre Pentastar V-6 engine and 300 horsepower. The R/T model gets you a 345 HEMI V-8 and 370 horsepower. Kicking things up a notch, you’ll get the naturally aspirated 392 HEMI V-8 and 485 horsepower with the Charger Scat Pack.The SRT Hellcat and SRT Hellcat Jailbreak come with the 6.2-litre HEMI V-8 supercharged engine. However, for the ultimate power, choose the 6.2-litre HEMI high-output V-8 with 807 horsepower on the SRT Hellcat Redeye Jailbreak. The supercharged version delivers 797 horsepower in the Hellcat Redeye.
Each model comes with the TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic transmission as standard.
