Driveability
The 2024 Jeep Compass safety technology features are ready to assist you at every turn. You can drive confidently on different terrains thanks to the Selec-Terrain Traction Management system. Driving modes include mud, sand, snow, and auto, while the Trailhawk is also equipped with the Rock Mode. The Jeep Drive 4x4 system is standard across the lineup, as well as electric power steering technology.
Trailhawk owners can brag about its Trail Rated badge, which means its driveability features can handle any challenge. All models run on the same powertrain: a 2.0-litre Turbocharged I4 with an eight-speed automatic transmission.
There are more than 85 driving assistance features available for everyone, covering the most common challenges of daily driving and off-road adventures. All models have AWD suspension, while the flagship model has off-road suspension.
Safety Technologies and Passive Features
The new lineup has a long list of standard driving assistance technologies. All models include an active lane management system, electronic park brake, electronic roll mitigation, rain brake support, and trailer sway control. A blindspot monitoring system with rear cross-path detection and an adaptive cruise control system is available for all models except the Sport.
The Trailhawk Elite has exclusive features, like parallel and perpendicular park and unpark assist, but traffic sign recognition is available for all Top 3 models. Each model includes an advanced airbag system with seven airbags. Panic alarms, security alarms, and remote keyless entry are standard across the lineup. Front and rear tow hooks are exclusive features of Trailhawk models. The flagship mode has a standard Class III Receiver Hitch and four-pin wiring harness as part of the Trailer Tow Group.
