While many expectations surround new upgrades for the 2025 lineup, the 2024 Ram 1500 technology features are nearly identical to last year. However, the diesel powertrain has been cut from the 2024 lineup.

Hi-Tech Performance
It wouldn’t be a Ram 1500 without a muscular powertrain like the 5.7-litre HEMI V8. This engine has a towing capacity of 12,749.33 pounds, a torque capacity of 410 lb-ft, and 130 lb-ft of launch torque. It’s equipped with an eight-speed automatic transmission and eTorque Mild Hybrid system.
You can also opt for the award-winning 3.6-litre Pentastar V6 and flagship engine, the 6.2-litre Supercharged HEMI V8. The 6.2-litre Supercharged HEMI has 720 horsepower and a best-in-class torque capacity of 650 lb-ft but a towing capacity of 14,000 pounds.
Comfort and Infotainment
All models come with the Uconnect infotainment system. While Tradesman and Big Horn have Uconnect 3, and the Rebel has Uconnect 5 and an 8.4-inch touchscreen display, the remaining trims have the top-notch Uconnect 5 NAV and a 12-inch touchscreen display. The touchscreen display is packed with customizable features, such as navigation, cruise and audio controls. There’s also wireless connectivity with up to two smartphones at once.
New buyers will also have access to a Ram app, Ram Connect Services, with features like remote vehicle start and vehicle finder. The navigation system also includes the Send & Go feature. Additionally, there’s an available 4G WiFi hotspot, ensuring you’ll have access to your favourite entertainment options.
Safety Systems
There are more than 100 available and standard safety features for everyone. Standard features include six airbags and the largest brake rotors in class, providing unbeatable braking power. This lineup also offers rearview mirrors with LCD monitors and a 360º surround-view camera. The available head-up display brings updated information about navigation and the vehicle’s condition.
