2025 RAMCHARGER REX - What We Know So Far!

Ram is preparing to unveil the release date of its latest offering in the electric truck space, the 2025 Ramcharger Rex Canada model. Thanks to its 92-kWh battery, the Ramcharger aims to offer a combined range of over 1,000 km, including an electric-only range of around 200 to 250 km. Range
Ram has stated that it aims for a combined range figure of 1,110 km between the battery and engine-powered range-extender. While there’s no official battery-only driving range yet, based on the 92-kWh battery capacity, the heft of a Ram 1500, and the big ol’ Pentastar V6, we’d conservatively put the electric-only range between 200 and 250 km. This should be plenty for most daily driving needs, and the range extender should help alleviate any range anxiety on longer trips.
Charging
The 2025 Ramcharger Rex is expected to offer a maximum Level-3 DC fast-charge rate of 145 kW in ideal conditions, providing 80.5 km of range in 10 minutes. More typical Level-2 and Level-1 charging speeds have not been released yet, but we expect them to be competitive with other electric trucks.
Horsepower and Torque
Ram has not released official horsepower and torque figures for the 2025 Ramcharger Rex. The expected output is 663 horsepower and 615 lb-ft of torque. These figures should make the Ramcharger a competent truck for towing, hauling, and off-roading.
Infotainment
The 2025 Ramcharger will feature up to three screens running Stellantis’ UConnect 5. The instrument cluster offers up to 12.3-inch of display, while an optional 10.5-inch screen is available for the front passenger. The central infotainment display is expected to feature a range of real-time data on battery conditions, energy flow, and range figures.
Drive Modes
Ram has stated that the 2025 Ramcharger models will offer seven drive modes. These modes should give drivers various ways to manage battery use, store energy, and choose different performance levels.
